To search the wholesale inventory, complete the following steps:
1. Place the cursor on the Search tab.
2. Click Wholesale Inventory.
The Search Wholesale Inventory screen displays.
3. Click the drop-down arrow in the Dlr # field and select the appropriate 4-digit dealer number. Select All to search all 4-digit dealer numbers for CARS Dealers. Select All to search all Products for Advantage Dealers.
4. Click the drop-down arrows in the Yr: Mk:, and Mdl: fields and select the appropriate values. Select All for each field to search all years, makes, and models.
5. Click the drop-down arrow in the Code: field and select the appropriate vehicle code. Select All to search all codes.
Note: Refer to the FAQs on the SmartCash Home screen for an explanation of the codes.
6. Type the VIN in the VIN field. The VIN is optional.
7. Type the beginning date of the range in the first Interest Date Range between: field. Type the ending date of the range in the second Interest Date Range between: field. These fields are optional.
8. Type the beginning range for the outstanding balance in the first OSB Range between: field. Type the ending range for the outstanding balance in the second OSB Range between: field. These fields are optional.
9. Click the Search button.
The Wholesale Search Results screen displays all transactions that matched the selected criteria. Click the Print button to print the results. Click the Close button to close the Wholesale Search Results screen.
10. On the Wholesale Search Results screen, you can:
· View detailed wholesale information for a vehicle by clicking the VIN number.
· Download the results to a CSV file (comma separated value file) by clicking the check box next to the appropriate vehicle and then clicking the Download button. The file can then be opened with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet programs. Refer to the Downloading Wholesale Inventory section for more information.
· Payoff a wholesale vehicle by clicking the check box next to the appropriate vehicle and then clicking the Pay button. The Wholesale Payoff Entry screen displays. For more information about the payoff of a wholesale vehicle, refer to the Wholesale Inquiry/Payoff Unit Transactions section.
· Reverse the Payoff of a vehicle by clicking the check box next to the appropriate vehicle and then clicking the Reverse button. The Wholesale Payoff Reversal screen displays. For more information about the reversal of a wholesale , refer to the Wholesale Payoff Reversal Transactions section.
