Changing the Demo Status
To change the demo status of a wholesale vehicle, complete the following steps.
Note: Changing the demo status of a wholesale vehicle is considered a non-monetary transaction and will not be reflected in the SmartCash balance bar.
1. Place the cursor on the Transaction tab.
The types of transactions you can enter display below the tabs.
2. Place the cursor on Wholesale.

3. Click Change Demo Status.
The Wholesale Change Demo: Enter VIN screen displays.
4. Type the VIN in the VIN field. Only the last six characters of the VIN are required. Up to five VINs can be entered at one time.
5. Click the Submit button.
The Wholesale Change Demo Status: Request Change screen displays. All transactions will be selected (checked) for processing. If a transaction should not be processed, unselect (uncheck) the transaction.
Note: To view wholesale unit information for a vehicle, click the VIN. A separate window will display information associated with the vehicle.
6. Click the drop-down arrow in the Change Status to field and select the new status.
7. Type the date the change will take effect in the Effective Date of Change field. The format for the Effective Date of Change field is MM/DD/YYYY.
8. Type a description in the Description field. The Description field is optional.
9. Click the Submit button.
The Wholesale Change Demo Status: Confirm Change screen displays with a message indicating that the request has been processed. Refer to the Editing Transactions section for information about making changes to a transaction. Refer to the Deleting Transactions section for information about deleting a transaction.
