To enter a Misc from Dealer transaction, complete the following steps:
1. Place the cursor on the Transaction tab.
The types of transactions you can enter display below the tabs.
2. Click Misc from Dealer.
The Misc from Dealer: Enter Payment Information screen displays.
3. Click the drop-down arrow in the Transaction Type field and select the appropriate transaction type. Depending on the transaction type selected, a pop-up box may be presented that includes a message prompting the user to enter specific information that is pertinent to the transaction type selected.
4. Type the VIN in the VIN field. The entire VIN (17 characters) must be entered for the Cancel Aftermarket Products transaction type. The VIN field is optional for other transaction types. If the VIN is entered for other transaction types, a minimum of six characters is required.
5. Type the amount and a description in the appropriate fields. Up to five transactions can be entered at one time.
6. Click the Submit button.
The Misc from Dealer: Confirm Payment screen displays. Your transactions have been processed. Refer to the Editing Transactions section for information about making changes to a transaction. Refer to the Deleting Transactions section for information about deleting a transaction.
