To enter wholesale floorplan transactions, complete the following steps:
1. Place the cursor on the Transaction tab.
The types of transactions you can enter display below the tabs.
2. Place the cursor on Wholesale.
The types of Wholesale transactions display.
3. Click Floorplan a Vehicle.
The Wholesale Floorplan a Vehicle: Enter Vehicle Information screen displays.
4. Click the drop-down arrow in the Type of Vehicle field and select the appropriate type of vehicle.
5. Type the VIN in the VIN field.
6. Type the estimated dealer cost (i.e., invoice amount) or average wholesale value of the vehicle in the EDC/AWV field. The average wholesale value for used unit is not enterable and the value will be provided from Black Book lookup.
7. Type a description in the Description field. The Description field is optional.
8. Click the Submit button.
The Wholesale Floorplan a Vehicle: Request Funding screen displays with a Dealer Number selected and the maximum amount to floorplan. All transactions will be selected (checked) for processing. If a transaction should not be processed, unselect (uncheck) the transaction.
9. Click the drop-down arrow in the Dlr # field and select the appropriate dealer to change the dealer, if necessary.
10. Adjust the amount in the Amt to Floor field, if applicable.
Note: The amount must be greater than 0 and not more than the calculated maximum amount to floorplan.
11. Type the vehicle’s mileage in the Mileage field. The Mileage field is optional for new vehicles.
12. Type the stock number in the Stock # field. The Stock # field is optional.
13. Click the Submit button.
The Wholesale Floorplan a Vehicle: Confirm Funding screen displays with a message indicating that the transaction was successfully processed. Refer to the Editing Transactions section for information about making changes to a transaction. Refer to the Deleting Transactions section for information about deleting a transaction.
Note: If the transactions entered require follow up, a message will be displayed indicating "required documentation must be submitted before the Floorplan request will be funded".
